| As one enters the property you are struck by the clean design cues of uncluttered lines maximising the inevitable focus onto the broad wooden deck and fine seascapes beyond. There is direct lift access to the beach, Cliftons quietest. The 420 square metres apartment was refurbished in 2007. The appealing entertaining area is tastefully furnished in complementary shades of brown from a large leather floor carpet, chaise longue, sofa suite to oak wood bar. The bar counters are of marble with ample storage space in bar fridges. The restful tones counteract any intrusive mid-afternoon sea glare creating a harmonious atmosphere conducive to relaxation aided by air-conditioning throughout. American shutters provide effective sun screening. Concealed Wilson audio and widescreen television units are unobtrusively screened behind attractive cabinets. The outside suite of patio furniture has a bleached aged driftwood quality while a deep double volume couch sits invitingly against a wall near an inpressively large plinth-mounted sunken jacuzzi. There is a guest WC. The lower floor has compact dimensions yet maximises a sense of spaciousness of the floor above while having continuity of colour coordination as an interwoven brown leather cover picks up the main reception room floor rug. Otherwise, orange and ochre paintings decorate the walls and restful beige is used in addition to mood downlighting. The master suite features a walk-in shower and black and brown marble finishes wiith opaque glass spashback veneers. There is ample wardrobe capacity. A private balcony is ideally located here overlooking the beach. |
