The initial impression one receives on arrival is the immense ability the Gregg Wright is the architectural-master-mind behind this magnificent structure. The villa has been incorporated into the cliff-faces raw, natural surroundings. The villa location is as close to the actual beach and lapping shore-line as was possible for it to be, without it literally being built in the ocean itself! The top level contains three bedrooms suites with patio access, plasma and satellite television, air con, under floor heating, en suite bathrooms and over-looks the coast-line and ocean below. Large, wall-to-wall shutter doors access the garden. The breath-taking highlight is evident in the positioning and design of the infinity pool, its edge is a literal drop into a seamless fall of the steep and rugged, rocky cliff surface and ends in the shores waters. The living-room is peaceful, and tranquil. The dining room features a 10 seater round table. A sunken entertainment room is filled with a wrap-around leather lounge suite and an enormous LCD screen TV, a DVD player, satellite decoder, surround-sound, CD player and Hi-Fi system. The kitchen is fully-equipped with every conceivable appliance and includes an equipped scullery. The villa is fitted with a state-of-the-art Paradox security system to completely protect the property from unwanted disturbances. A funicular-system provides a convenient means from which to descend from the double garage parking.

The initial impression one receives on arrival is the immense ability the villa has to be absolutely incorporated into the cliff-faces raw, natural surroundings. Following the architectural guideline to utilise as much of the mountains original components as logistically possible in its building, the villa has in effect been created into being through its being totally built around such things as giant quartz boulders and ancient Milk-woods. Gregg Wright is the architectural-master-mind behind this magnificent structure. Additionally, the villa location is as close to the actual beach and lapping shore-line as was posssible for it to be without it literally being built in the ocean itself! Effectively, the home is built into the rocky cliff-face on its natural slope and doesnt marr the mountains original beauty in any way. In fact, the villa compliments the mountains surface in an exceptionally authentic and aesthetically appealing manner. A steep driveway and a short flight of steps leads the winding path to the homes interior. A vast open-plan ground-level expanse is divided from room to room by clever angles in the homes wrap-around feel, essentially shielding ones view of each room through the round-the-corner design and placement of the walls.

The large living-room is a peaceful, tranquil tribute to the colour spectrum of the beach and sea. The room is clean in its minimalist aesthetic and comprises of a predominant sea-blue, pastel-blue, white, cream and beige collection of tones. For chilly nights, a huge gas fireplace will supply warmth. Large, wall-to-wall shutter doors are the means through which to access the garden exterior throughout the entire ground-level section and they are the signature feature in each of its separate rooms. The ground-level is fitted with a state-of-the-art Paradox security system to completely protect the property from unwanted disturbances. The dining room is a flowing, joining section between the kitchen and living rooms. It features a 10 seater round table and is accented in turquoise and sea-shell high-lights. The dining-table is positioned to directly over-look the coast-line and the crashing waves below. At the dining-rooms rear, a sunken entertainment room is a cosy and warm space that so specifically invites comfort in every way. The rooms perimeter is filled with a wrap-around leather lounge suite and features shelving holding authentic, antique, hand-built ship-wreck models. Here one is entertained via a simply enormous LCD screen TV, a DVD player, satellite decoder and a surround-sound CD Hi-Fi system. Snugly tucked underneath the staircase a guest cloak-room is a convenient reprise from too much stair-climbing and a fully-equipped study is located at the main entrance, providing a sun-lit space from where to conduct business on holiday. A glass sky-light is well-incorporated into the rooms corner location and has ample wooden desk-space and shelving. Moving again downstairs, an informal dining area fills the open-planned kitchens foreground setting. The kitchen is jointly complimentary to the living-room décor in its royal-blue use of colour. The colours are wonderfully off-set by the lime-washed wooden finishings. The kitchen is fully-equipped with every conceivable appliance and includes an equipped scullery at its rear. A side-door exit provides access to a funicular-system which provides the convenient means from which to descend the descend from the 2-car garage.

The aforementioned corner-to-corner shutter-doors are the way to the paradise which lies at this homes foreground expanse. The exterior comprises a large garden and Balau-Timber decked patio. The breath-taking highlight is evident in the positioning and design of the infinity pool. Large in breadth and width and deep by the standards of infinity-pool design, its edge is a literal drop into a seamless fall of the steep and rugged, rocky cliff surface and ends in the shores waters. Adjacent to the living-room is a descending flight of steps leading to a basement which may be transformed into an additional entertaining area or remain as an extra storage space. It is phenomenal to behold as its walls are entirely built of the mountains original quartz-rock boulders. Terracotta cylinders are tucked under the stairs and are intended as a rustic wine-cellar feature. The basements doors exit onto a small piece of the cliffs actual surface, invariably being an authentic terrace of rocks and vegetation.

Upstairs features a continuation of the beautiful, original oil-on-canvas works of artist, Wendy Wiley. The villas walls are dominated by her colorful depictions of beachy landscapes and sea-side scenes. This level contains all three bedrooms, a separate laundry and luggage storage section and the ingenious, innovative inclusion of a kitchenette in the laundry room. Toaster, kettle and microwave supply a perfect mini-outfit for late-night snacking and eliminates the hassle of trekking to the far-below ground-level kitchen section. A walk-through work-space is fitted with wooden counter-topped surfaces and shelving and drawers. Glass windows provide a peaceful view of the mountain greenery and the massive Milk-wood tree that grows within its own internal enclosure. The master suite can be closed off via a sliding door. If closed, this section is a multi-roomed space dedicated to being the main sleeping quarters of the villa. The space includes separate rooms for the wardrobe, toilet, bathroom and bedroom. The bathroom is fitted with shower and vanities and has a sunken-level jacuzzi tub that over-looks the exteriors coast-line view and ocean through floor-to ceiling panels of clear glass. The master-suite has its own, private balcony and a staircase descending to the garden and pool below. Additionally, a king-sized bed, phone-line, intercom, air-con, plasma-screen, underfloor heating and a large-gas fireplace all inhabit the room. Two other bedrooms are accessed to the right of the upper-floor. Each has en-suite bathroom facilities, namely a shower;loo and vanities in the smaller of the two and a large open-plan expanse in the larger room. This bathroom is worth a mention due to its design and positioning that creates the best of all threes effective sea-views. Both bedrooms have sliding-door exits that adjoin a shared, furnished balcony. Both rooms have under-floor heating and climate control systems. The one room is smaller with only a double bed and the larger of the two is beautifully off-set with cherry-wood, mahogany and shutter-door finishings. Finally, the third room has an additional intercom system.
