| This Villa is situated high on the cliffs above Clifton’s ‘First Beach’, with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains. There is no road access to the villa – a private funicular takes one from the double garages at road level up to the villa – ultimate privacy. A generous patio paved in marble provides unrivaled views and an ideal al fresco environment. The sun sets over the ocean directly in front of the villa. Relaxing with a glass of wine in the pool, watching the sunset is something one will never forget. The villa is designed for relaxed living with an easy flow from the living areas out onto the patio and the balcony. Down stairs, the floors are marble throughout and there are wooden floors upstairs in the bedrooms, which lead out onto the balcony. The villa is about 250 square meters in size, with a lounge, TV lounge, dining room, a modern well equipped kitchen, 3 main double bedrooms en suite. There is air conditioning in the main bedroom and the TV lounge and the patio and the bedrooms have large blinds that operate at the click of a button. Clifton is one of Cape Town’s prestige residential suburbs, situated on the ocean and only 10 minutes drive from Table Mountain, the City and the bustling Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Clifton beaches consist of four beach areas interlinked by giant granite boulders. Clifton is a largely wind free area and often when the rest of CT is experiencing a strong south easterly wind, Clifton basks in the sun and is windless. The boutique wineries and vineyards of Constantia are 30 minutes away and in an hour one can be in Stellenbosch where history and wine provide equal attraction. From Clifton 45 minutes due south is the Cape’s famous Cape Point Nature reserve with spectacular ocean views unspoilt by any development. Cape Town’s restaurants and wine bars are well known and there is no shortage of them within walking distance of Clifton - but Clifton itself remains a small exclusive residential enclave without any commercial development. Clifton is 40 minutes from Cape Towns International Airport and from the city is connected to the airport by motor way. |
