Gracious and elegant, the discreetly luxurious 85-foot (25m) motor yacht, Princess Emma, is now moored at the Victoria & Alfred Marina, Cape Town, and available for private charter. Her clean and uncluttered lines add undeniable presence to this spectacular harbour at the foot of Table Mountain.

The gleaming rosewood and cherry interior is testament to fine craftsmanship and is designed with absolute comfort in mind and accented with luxurious soft furnishings. Princess Emma accommodates eight guests with ease in four luxurious en-suite cabins: two large king-bedded and two twin-bedded cabins. All the cabins are fitted with air conditioning, TVs and PVRs for satellite television, DVD (theres an extensive library), radio and wireless internet. Bathrooms are luxuriously fitted with showers and a generous bath in the main suite. The larger suites also have dressing tables or desk areas, and all have ample storage.

The spacious living area has surround sound and a widescreen LCD television that may be raised or concealed, an expandable dining table and a compact but fully fitted kitchen that may be screened off during dinner - all thoughtful design elements that offer flexibility and privacy as needed. The wide aft deck offers alfresco dining and the swimming platform floats just above the water for easy access. Sun beds await on the spacious fly bridge and foredeck.

Built by Princess Yachts in the UK - one of the most respected names in the industry - with the latest technology brought to life by precision engineering, its equipped with all the latest navigational aids and safety equipment and is manned by a highly qualified skipper and crew. The sleek 78-ton vessel commands top performance from its twin 2000 hp engines, with a comfortable cruising speed of 17 knots, reaching 30 knots at top speed. Princess Emma is equipped with a sophisticated computerised engine management system, which can be used to optimise the fuel efficiency of the boat. A silent exhaust system and a sound-proofed engine room guarantee the smoothest, quietest power cruise.

Offering an exclusive travel experience, Princess Emma may be chartered per day, so whether you wish to cruise around to the calm waters of Clifton, Cape Towns most wind-free beach for a barbeque lunch or evening cocktails, or around Cape Point to take in the delights of Kalk Bay and Simonstown, the Princess Emma is your most stylish option. Longer charters of up to five days will either take you up the West Coast or to Knysna, the jewel of the Garden Route. Chartered trips are bespoke and are quoted on request.

All charters booked are weather dependent and where moorings are restricted, the tender boat is used to transport guests to shore to explore. Per day rates are for the entire boat including an overnight stay and are fully inclusive of meals and an excursion of 25 nautical miles from the Cape Grace Marina. Its mooring at the V&A Waterfront allows for convenient shopping, as well as a taste of the world-class restaurants in the Waterfront.

Princess Yachts has been acquired recently by LVMH, a French company that includes exclusive brands such as Louis Vuitton, Moet et Chandon and Hennessy.
