| The location of the property on the quiet cul-de-sac of the prestigious Nettleton Road is highly sought-after as it offers privacy, seclusion and an elevated aspect. Perched high above the famed Clifton Fourth Beach, the seascape views are superlative as are those across to the Twelve Apostles mountain chain. As one enters the villa through a wide expanse of glass and descend via a central circular staircase and cylindrical glass lift you are struck by the sense of spaciousness of the main entertaining reception floor extending on to the adjoining broad verandah pool deck terrace. This is an ideal dining area be it formal in the ten seater dining room as served from the walk-through kitchen or more causually in one of the seating areas either within or outside in terms of al fresco patio dining on an eight seater table. There is an adjoining patio garden to the dining room. The Gaggenau full-specification kitchen is effectively concealed from the main areas and boasts marble counters, double ovens and double fridge-freezers; ideal for catering for large parties. Moving outside, one passes through wide patio doors to the expansive pool deck featuring a divided rim flow infinity pool, corner bench seating area with parasol and semi-circular wooden sun deck with mirror wall that effectively reflects back the arresting sea views of this unrivalled vantage point. There is a wooden sauna, shower and guest bathroom here. Signature large and deep white leather sun loungers adorn the deck from which the views can be enjoyed in great comfort. There are two en suite guest bedrooms here all enjoying fine sea-facing views, especially that occupying a circular space with curving glass screen forming a picture window. The en suite master bedroom on the upper floor similarly boasts an impressive spa bath surveying the beach below. The proportions of the master suite are generous with ample wardrobe space. Domestic staff occupy a lower storey providing a dedicated maid and butler service. |
