| One enters this four bedroom spacious villa via a wooden drawbridge platform that spans a fishpond of large white pebbles and wide glass doors opening onto a spacious reception area with views over Glen Beach. An eight seater dining table sits on white and teak floors in front of huge double volume patio doors through which a large pool and wooden deck verandah beckon. To the rear is a media room which otherwise may double as a bedroom. Adjoining here is an attractive bamboo and rock garden. To the front is a lounge with gas flame white pebble bed fireplace and orange fabric couches. The patio opens out onto a white stone terrace with two green and beige couches and beyond an expansive L-shaped wooden deck with six sunloungers and a built-in barbecue. An eight –seater dining table facilitates al fresco dining while a Jacuzzi is invitingly located nearby. The large pool is asymmetrically divided approximating to an L-shape while the perimeter is planted with bamboo. The views are of the Rotunda (of the Bay Hotel) and Camps Bay beach extending to Lions Head. The full-specification Siemens kitchen of double oven, fridge-freezer and gas hobs has white counter surfaces. There is a separate scullery providing and washing/ utility area. The basement has an en suite guest bedroom, a lounge and wine cooler cabinet. A gym and games room are located here too while outside off a courtyard patio is a large steamroom with shower. The first floor landing has interesting views back down to the entrance lobby fish pond area and signature driftwood tree. There are two similar generously proportioned suites, an en suite master and large guest room. The first has an oval freestanding bathtub as well as a walk-in shower with fine views from the wide private balcony. Ample wardrobe capacity is common to all bedrooms while the largest guest suite has such distinctive features as a large rectangular bath complemented by an outdoor shower with a low futon-style bed close to the floor. Strikingly modern bright colourful portraits decorate the walls. There is a further en suite guest bedroom with fine views facing the Twelve Apostles. |
