Set in a private nature reserve and surrounded by the Cape’s famous indigenous fynbos, the luxury accommodation and position of Paradise Views is unique for the area. The unmistakable scent of thatch and the tinkling sound of water greets guests at the entrance, which leads into the expansive entertaining and living area that has great flow outdoors onto the pool deck.

The deck runs the full length of the house and the Jacuzzi and pool have magnificent views of the fynbos, rolling hills, winelands, mountains and oceans beyond. Guests have been known to stay here, relaxing on the loungers for days without even venturing down to the beach.
How often do you get to see both the Indian and Atlantic oceans at the same time? And we’re not talking about taking a hike up a mountain to do so – at this exclusive, thatched mountainside villa you can take in these spectacular views as you relax in the Jacuzzi and rim-flow, heated pool.

Nestled at the foot of the Hottentots Holland mountain ranges that border the winelands of the Cape and with views over the entire Peninsular – from Table Mountain and the Atlantic on one side, to the Indian Ocean and Cape Point on the other – this is a nature-lover’s paradise. It’s also one of the few places where you can literally be at one with nature but still be a mere 20-minute drive from the beach and shops through Sir Lowry’s Pass village.

Two lounges – a more formal one and a relaxed family television lounge – are adjacent to the dining area with its 10-seater dining table. A family sized, farm-style kitchen is equipped with all the quality fittings and appliances you’ll ever need for entertaining in this spectacular venue. A separate utility and pantry area leads off the kitchen and a central working island makes it a sociable place to cook together on holiday.

On either side of the central entertaining area are two luxury en-suite bedrooms, both with sea and mountain views, underfloor heating, television, a mini kitchen and lounge area with great views. Each of the rooms has high, thatched ceilings, quality linen, mosquito nets and all the comforts you could wish for in your mountain villa. The bathrooms are spacious and have wonderful views either over the mountain side and surrounding fynbos reserve or of the sea.

A fully equipped, self-contained apartment with its own kitchen, living and dining area and balcony is upstairs – a peaceful sanctuary with absolutely breathtaking views. This is the perfect hideaway for multigenerational travellers with grandparents, parents and children holidaying together, allowing grandparents or parents to enjoy the privacy of being upstairs on their own.

Guests should note that the road to the villa is not tarred and has to be taken slowly if in a low-clearance car.
